The Market Place

This marketplace is a product of my first architectural design studio. It is based on a grid of interlaced circles. By extruding up certain walls to make a stall or pulling an entire section up to make a canopy, it can be picked up and moved to different locations if needed. The marketplace can sell anything while also having places for lounging, eating, and gathering. Designed during the height of the pandemic, the marketplace is COVID-19 friendly with the open layout allowing for tons of airflow. The stalls are large enough to have multiple people in there shopping at one time.
